Cinnamon Roll Cake Recipe
Basically everything you love about the ooey gooey center of a cinnamon roll in a cake! Swirled with buttery brown sugar cinnamon and topped with a sweet sugar glaze. Truly the best cake ever!!!
Cake Ingredients:
- 3 cups of flour
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 tsp of baking powder
- 1 & 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp of vanilla
- 4 Tbsp of melted butter
- 2 sticks of softened butter
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp of cinnamon
Icing Glaze Ingredients:
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 4-5 Tbsp of milk
- 1 tsp of vanilla
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- With an electric mixer, combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk, eggs, and vanilla. -Once that is combined, slowly stir in 4 Tbsp of melted butter.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9"x13" pan.
- In a medium sized bowl, mix the softened butter, brown sugar & cinnamon.
- Drop evenly over the cake batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out nearly clean from center.
- Make the icing glaze by adding the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to a medium sized bowl.
- Whisk until smooth and drizzle over the warm cake.
