Cinnamon Roll Cake Recipe

Basically everything you love about the ooey gooey center of a cinnamon roll in a cake! Swirled with buttery brown sugar cinnamon and topped with a sweet sugar glaze. Truly the best cake ever!!!

Cake Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 4 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 & 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp of vanilla
  • 4 Tbsp of melted butter
  • 2 sticks of softened butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp of cinnamon

Icing Glaze Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • 4-5 Tbsp of milk
  • 1 tsp of vanilla

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • With an electric mixer, combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk, eggs, and vanilla. -Once that is combined, slowly stir in 4 Tbsp of melted butter.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9"x13" pan.
  • In a medium sized bowl, mix the softened butter, brown sugar & cinnamon.
  • Drop evenly over the cake batter.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out nearly clean from center.
  • Make the icing glaze by adding the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to a medium sized bowl.
  • Whisk until smooth and drizzle over the warm cake.
  • Serve & Enjoy!
